How to play High Roller Double Exposure Blackjack
Played with an eight-deck shoe, the general familiar rules of the 21 game hold in High Roller Double Exposure Blackjack. The first principle remains to garner cards as close to a value of 21 without going over and while besting the dealer’s hand.
As the name implies, however, in Double Exposure Blackjack, the dealer no longer hides that second card from the player’s view. To compensate for this paradigm shift in the rules, High Roller Double Exposure Blackjack naturally does not offer insurance; additionally, the natural blackjack only pays at 1:1 odds as opposed to the more usual 3:2; dealer hits on soft 17; finally, split aces may only receive one card each and a split ace-plus-face is scored as 21 rather than blackjack.
Some plusses are given to player as well: In High Roller Double Exposure Blackjack, face cards may be split as though identical. Up to four hands may be played at once.
