Green Lantern video slot – 50-payline game based on DC Comics hero

Getting the online slots treatment from Cryptologic is the Green Lantern, cosmic superhero of DC Comics lore and, as the fans know, easily one of the most disrespected in the stable over there. (Even if you didn’t read the “Zero Hour” mess or witness various incarnations’ girlfriend troubles, geez, what about that movie, huh? Yeesh.) The 50-payline (or 60-payline, explained below) game does a fair job with the complex mythos of the ring-bearers – and makes for a decently fun play, too.

The “Bonus Bet” in Green Lantern “activates max lines,” i.e. you’ll have to pony up for 60 paylines rather than 50, but in this way can the bonus feature be unlocked.

Green Lantern (a.k.a. Green Lantern of Sector 2814, Hal Jordan version, for the comic-book heads out there) is a stacked wild, appearing on reels two and four only; ol’ GL also works as a 2x multiplier when appeaing in winning combinations.

Combine two Green Lantern with the power battery symbol in reel three and Shazam (or whatever these guys say), you’ve won 24 free spins

Two different ring symbols act as scatter and bonus. The “Ring Feature” video bonus round is triggered only if the Bonus Bet option is on. In the war of Green Lantern vs. his eternal enemy, the rogue lantern Sinestro, only one can win! And if Mr. Jordan takes down the red-skinned one, it’s 100x the total bet for you!
