three-microgaming-online-casinos-close-down

The recently – or so it seemed – up-and-coming online gambling group known as Linx Media Group shut down on Friday; spokespeople stated that the company has been liquidated. A message left at Eurolinx.com for interested parties ran as follows: “The Linx Media Group has today announced that it is seeking to put its businesses into liquidation and will cease trading with immediate effect. As yet, the Linx Media Group does not know how long this process will take, but it will provide updates on the situation as and when information becomes available and when liquidators are appointed.”
All player accounts at the sites Eurolinx.com, BetOnBet.com, and LinxCasino.com have been frozen; players were given little consolation with regard to collecting monies owed beyond the statement “As soon as we have information on how to lodge claims with liquidators, we will communicate this via [the websites].”
Customer complaints had been mounting about the sites for a few months, despite claims of increased traffic at the three addresses and a recent agreement to install industry-leading Microgaming software at four-month-old Linx Casino.
Some have claimed that the group’s heads were taking player deposits and plunking them into investments gone sour.
Today, Linx Media Group has been stripped of licensure by Microgaming, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, and the country of Malta where Linx was based.
